Augustas
Augustas was born on 1 July 2019, inheriting the experience, expertise, clients and references of MAO Risk Consulting and of the Risk Consulting department of PCA Consultative Broker.
MAO Risk Consulting
MAO Risk Consulting was born in March 2016 on the initiative of its founder Maurizio Castelli, to offer thirty years of experience in risk management in the form of 360 ° professional risk management consultancy. In the first year since its foundation, MAO developed its own methodology for Operational Risk Management and Insurance Risk Assessment, which was successfully applied to some manufacturing companies in the “Mid Corporate” segment (with a turnover of EUR 100-300 m.).
Training
In the first year of business activity, a scientific consultancy agreement was made with ANRA (the Italian Association of Risk Managers) which gave MAO the opportunity to coordinate the ALP (ANRA Learning Path) Project and leading to the creation of a new professional path for training of Risk Managers. The course, designed in adherence to the “Body of Knowledge” of FERMA (European Federation of Risk Management Associations) has been the first in Europe to obtain accreditation from FERMA as an introductory course for the European Professional Certification RIMAP (Risk Management Professional).
ERM, ORM and Project Risk Management
Since 1st of July 2017 MAO made an exclusive partnership agreement on Risk Management services with PCA Consultative Brokers to jointly offer advanced Risk Consulting services to PCA’s clients, MAO’s clients and to the market in general. PCA is an independent and international broker, operating since 1988 in the field of Insurance and Reinsurance Consulting. PCA is one of the most important independent Italian brokers and dedicate its activity exclusively to the corporate and large corporate sector, having clients in numerous industries. In 2017, with the creation of an ad hoc department and thanks to the partnership with MAO, PCA has complemented its traditional insurance brokerage services by offering to its customers a strategic and high added value tools of Risk Consulting. In two years of activity, numerous projects have been completed especially in the ERM, ORM and Project Risk Management areas, in numerous industries and in the corporate and Mid Corporate segments.
The Service Goes Global
Since September 2019, with joining the international network of Brokerslink, Augustas SPA Risk Services has been able to offer its services even across the border.
